The American shoe brand KangaROOS was founded in 1979 by Bob Gamm, an architect with a passion for running. He decided to design innovative shoes with a lockable pocket for small items on their tongues. The "Kangaroos" shoes were made popular mainly by the American Olympians at the Barcelona '92 Olympic Games. Thanks to retro casual fashion, the Kangaroos shoe brand is now experiencing a renaissance.
